DatabaseBALADA TRISTE DE TROMPETA (2010)
Espagne, pendant la guerre civile, un clown est contraint de combattre avec l'armée. Emprisonné puis tué, il laisse un fils, Javier. Celui-ci devient à son tour clown dans les années 70. Un clown triste. Il est alors embauché dans un cirque où il tombe amoureux de la compagne de son chef. Une sombre rivalité s'installe alors entre les deux hommes.

Un très bon film, rempli de personnages vraiment attachants, ce qui est quand même assez rare. C'est beau, triste et violent, drôle parfois. Toujours juste. Un de ses meilleurs films à mon sens et la très bonne surprise du moment.

Nic la nique - 11/09/2011 à 11:58C'est loin d'etre le meilleur de De la iglesia (a mon gout) mais c'est un bon moment a passer, on regrettera certains choix scénaristiques qui plombent un peu le film avec des longueurs...suivient par des scènes d'action hallucinantes...heureusement.

Un excellent moment.
Ayant découvert Alex de la Iglesia par ce film, j'ai regardé ensuite toute sa filmographie, pour me rendre compte que c'était vraiment le plus à mon goût.
On y retrouve un certain sérieux-pesant-glauque, exacerbé par le très bon jeu d'acteur de la part des clowns et peut être plus par son contraste avec une légèreté diffuse dans laquelle on reconnait le style habituel d'Iglesia.
Pour moi qui connais autant l'histoire hispanique que la littérature inuit, le cadre historique n'aura pas été un obstacle notable à l'appréciation de ce petit bijou.
