ALICE AU PAYS DES MERVEILLES (2010)
Alice, 17 ans, se rend à un fête organisée dans un grand domaine de l’ère Victorienne, où elle se rend compte que sa main sera proposée à un riche célibataire de la haute société. Alors qu’elle fuit ce triste destin, elle suit un lapin blanc dans un trou et se retrouve au Pays des Merveilles, un endroit qu’elle a visité dix ans plus tôt... mais dont elle n’a aucun souvenir...

C'est tout sauf du Burton !
pardon, mais l'univers familier (sa femme, son acteur fétiche, les arbres tordus, les portes de biais, bref le gothique burtonien) n'est ici que du remplissage, une signature technique dérisoire au vu de la morale anti-burton :
"gagne sur le rêve", c'est ce contre quoi Burton s'est battu sa carrière durant ! ça fait mal au cul de le dire, mais le bon vieux Tim s'est fait bouffé par le système...
ça ressemble à un RIP...
