Taylor Lautner WILL be in the "NEW MOON"
This has gone back and forth a few times, and there has been alot of speculation over whether Taylor Lautner would reprise his role as Jacob Black in the sequel to "TWILIGHT" called "NEW MOON". The speculation included that there was little confidence that Lautner could pull off the complex character and changes that Jacob Black goes through in this sequel. Despite all these rumours, Variety has reported that Taylor Lautner will, in fact, be back as Jacob Black in "NEW MOON", Summit Entertainment's sequel to the hit "TWILIGHT".Jacob Black is a central character in New Moon, a much larger role than in Twilight. After Edward has left her, Bella gets drawn into the world of werewolves through Jacob Black. Werewolves being the old enemies of the vampires.
Summit Entertainment and Director Chris Weitz announced Wednesday that Lautner would be coming back as Jacob Moon, and added that he has become "emotionally ready" for the part. In addition, Lautner has been hitting the gym, trying to add 19 pounds of muscle to bulk up, since Jacob Moon goes through a significant physical change in the movie, including growing taller, and stronger and aging by 10 years.
