Synapse Films just sent Fango the very cool cover art and complete details for its DVD of the 1983 indie creature-feature favorite THE DEADLY SPAWN. Streeting October 26, the disc will feature a new, digitally remastered (from the original 16mm camera negatives) windowboxed transfer of the film in its original 1.33:1 aspect ratio, plus a monstrous array of extras compiled from the personal collections of the cast and crew:

• Two audio commentaries—one by producer/writer Ted Bohus, the other featuring director/writer Douglas McKeown, producer/artist Tim Hildebrandt, actor Charles Hildebrandt and FX artists John Dods and Tim Sullivan
