SYNOPSIS

An epic tale of brotherly love, bad sushi & ass-kicking zombies.
Calgary-made independent DV short, full of kung-fu, gore, comedy & b-movie campiness!

Two brothers, the best of friends, devout martial artists, inseperable. One fateful sushi dinner would forever change the nature of their relationship and send them on a crash course to death and destruction.
Thinking his dear brother has been killed by the toxic venom of the live dirty lungfish that tore out his eye, Lone Brother trudges through life, wondering how he will ever be able to continue on all alone. Little does he know his brother has returned to walk the earth as the undead, pissed off and craving human flesh. The stage is set for an epic battle where brother must face brother, zombie versus the living, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance! (Okay, that's a little overreaching, but...)

REVIEW

This short film is simply killer !!!!!!!! These guys are completely fucked up !!! Filled with non-sens !! Just imagine a dead fish that flies (of course we can see the thread which makes it fly; without that that wouldn't be fun) , a guy dies in a restaurant and nobody cares, martial art fights praiseworthy (they have white belts, we can understand why !) , the actors play in a way... euh... well, you understand, "ROTTEN SHAOLIN ZOMBIES" is purely about fun ! It's Troma meeting Bruce Lee, the Monthy Python versus Shaolin Monks. Moreover, to waste nothing about pleasure, the film comes with a captivating music and some gore effects like we love them here. We only regret one thing : it's too short !!!!
