The soundtracks in horror cinema, even though they're of capital importance in the film, aren't really in vogue to mainstream audiences and, unfortunately, only few die-hard fans try to get them. So Perseverance Records is there for them! In spite of a small catalogue (five titles for now and two in prevision for the end of the year), this production label delivers products of a good quality.
For "THE DEADLY SPAWN", you'll not only get the soundtrack, but also a track called “Spawn, But Not Forgotten” which is, actually, a medley of themes played differently and of unreleased material. A good means to fill the remaining space on the CD!
The whole thing is packed with a 12-page booklet filled with pictures, horoscope, an interview with John Dods (co scriptwriter and Producer) and a biography. What more can we ask for?
