"PIRANHA 3D 2" On The Way !
Dimension Films is already developing a sequel to the just opened "PIRANHA 3D" reports Variety.Made for an economical $24 million, the film opened in disappointing sixth place but still managed a decent $10 million for its opening weekend and has opened well in a few select international territories. More surprising though were the critical reviews which proved quite good, the film managing a surprisingly strong 82% positive reaction on Rotten Tomatoes.
Alexandre Aja ("THE HILLS HAVE EYES", "HIGH TENSION", "MIRRORS") directed the first film but there's no word if he will return, and no-one else has been linked yet. Mark Canton will once again produce.
