Old School Sinema announces "The Horror Convention Massacre" release

Co-writer/producer/director Joe Ostrica's "The Horror Convention Massacre" (shot primarily at Cinema Wasteland in Cleveland, Ohio this past spring), which is about a maniac on the loose bumping off a group of assorted guests attending a horror convention, is set to be released on DVD August 8 from Old School Sinema. Featuring appearances by Lew Temple ("The Devil's Rejects," the upcoming "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning") and Ari Lehman ("Friday the 13th"), "THCM" is Ostrica's homage to slasher exploitation films of the 70's and early 80's, and features plenty of grisly deaths and beautiful naked women.
"I was sick of all the so-called PG-13 horror films being shoved down my throat the past few years," Ostrica said. "I wanted to do a film similar to the ones I grew up watching and take horror fans along the ride with me."
