In case you weren't sick of remakes yet, Platinum Dunes is basterdizing another of our beloved classics with their incredibly imaginative minds. STYD had a chat with Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, and these two producers had some interesting developments in store.It's our next movie," confirmed Form, "hopefully shooting this spring".
"It's like what we're doing to "FRIDAY THE 13TH"," says Fuller. "It's not Freddy cracking jokes. We want to make a horrifying movie. The concept is so scary, don't fall asleep or you'll die. This guy gets you when you're most vulnerable, in your sleep. We love that. That's the basis of the movie. It'll be most similar to the first one but in terms of kills and dreams we'll borrow from the entire series."

uh..let's not. You can't go remaking the classics! They're classics for a reason. So what if they're corny? For their day they were the scariest stuff out there! Anyway, that;'s my two cents. The only reason I'll be watching the Friday the 13th remakes is because Jared Padalecki's in it, and that dude ROCKS on Supernatural. blah. anyway.

that is fuckin bad ass im looking forward to the remake im sure they are going to serve the franchise right. Lets bring Freddy back the right way for a new generation of horror fans!
