"Three Horrifying Tales" by H.P. Lovecraft
Legendary Master of the Macabre.
Spoken Word CD Recording, 2003.
Tales of Orpheus, London, have announced the release of their first spoken-word audio CD in the literary horror genre. Titled "Three Horrifying Tales" it features three of H. P. Lovecraft's finest horror stories (The Music of Erich Zann, The Cats of Ulthar, and The Unnameable).
The stories are read by classical British actor David Cade with excerpts of the very suitably atmospheric music of the Russian composer Alfred Schnittke.
This fully professional and digital recording has been most enthusiastically received by Lovecraft and horror afficionados, from fans to academics, all over the world.
