New Image From Newly Titled "THE DESCENT : PART 2"

Bloody-disgusting.com learned that Pathe Films has renamed their sequel to Neil Marshall's "THE DESCENT" to simply, "THE DESCENT: PART 2", which works in a sense considering where the story goes.
The sequel will continue the story of Sarah, who as the only survivor of an all-female caving expedition gone horrifically wrong, suffers severe psychological trauma. Unable to speak, she accompanies a rescue team back to the cave, but events once again take a sinister turn. In addition, we also discovered that Lionsgate now has domestic rights to release the film here in the States, so hopefully we'll be seeing it come 2009.
