Kirsten Dunst joined "A JEALOUS GHOST"

Kirsten Dunst joined A JEALOUS GHOST According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kirsten Dunst will star in Paramount Vantage's literary chiller "A JEALOUS GHOST", and produce it with Film 360's Ben Forkner, Eric Kranzler and Daniel Rappaport. Based on A.N. Wilson's novel and scripted by Megan Holley, the movie casts Dunst as a young American woman who travels to London to work on a dissertation on "THE TURN OF THE SCREW" (the spooky Henry James classic that has inspired several films itself) and finds herself living through events similar to those in James' novel. At the helm will be Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego, the Spanish filmmaker whose directorial debut, the survival thriller "KING OF THE HILL", will be released Stateside by the Weinstein Company, and who is also attached to Gold Circle's horror film "SOLO". Holley also wrote "SUNSHINE CLEANING", the upcoming black comedy about two sisters who clean up bloody crime scenes that has won praise at festivals; unless you count "THE CROW: SALVATION", this will mark Dunst's first major supernatural role since breaking out as a child in "INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE".
