Jim Caviezel ("THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST", "FREQUENCY", "THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO") and James Frain (who plays the terrifying Franklin Mott in "TRUE BLOOD") join Elisabeth Rohm ("ABDUCTION", "HEROES"), Harold Perrineau ("30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DARK DAYS", "MATRIX", "LOST") and Diora Baird ("NIGHT OF THE DEMONS", "TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING") in After Dark Films thriller "TRANSIT", says The Hollywood Reporter.Directed by Antonio Negret, the film is about a band of thieves on the run from a bank robbery and the suburban family they come across during their escape. When the criminals stash their stolen money in the family's SUV at a rest stop, the road trippers unwittingly draw the murderous band of outlaws on their trail.
Rohm plays the mother of the family on its way to a camping trip to bond. Perrineau and Baird are members of the bank robbery crew.
Courtney Solomon is producing the project, and Joel Silver is an executive producer. Michael Gilvary wrote the screenplay.
