BillyBob Thornton as Freddy?
According to Joblo BillyBob Thornton is rumored to be playing Freddy in the upcoming "NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET" remake.We do know that Robert Englund wont be back since Brad Fuller from Platinum Dunes told us as much;
"I think it has to be and I know fans hate to hear that and everyone says you have to put Robert in. He said it too. I don't think he wants to do it and I think that in order to differentiate what we're doing from the other ones, we would need to find someone else to play that role."
Synopsis : Nancy, Kris, Quentin, Jesse, and Dean all live on Elm Street. At night they're all having the same dream -- of the same man, wearing a tattered red and green striped sweater, a beaten fedora half-concealing a disfigured face, and a gardener's glove with knives for fingers.
