though I have heard of him on the History channel, not a lot is known about the origins and life of H.H. Holmes compared to America's later serial killers/mass murderers. Not to say that no info exists,just not as much as the ones that followed. He was caught and hung leaving 27 known and possibly 100's of victims in his wake. the one hour documentary above is the show I watched on either the History Ch or Biography Ch and the ? is why hasn't he been publiscized like serial killers that followed.
