Adam Beach Tackles "COWBOYS AND ALIENS"
Adam Beach ("FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS") has signed on to star in Jon Favreau's comic book adaptation "COWBOYS AND ALIENS" forDreamWorks Pictures, Universal Pictues and Platinum Studios reports Variety.He'll be joining a cast that includes Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Noah Ringer, Paul Dano, Keith Carradine, Clancy Brown and Ana de la Reguera.
Daniel Craig plays Zeke Jackson, the lead character in a story about Apache Indians and Western settlers who must lay their differences aside when an alien spaceship crash lands in Silvery City, Arizona.
Beach will play the role of Nat Colorado, a half-Apache who works for Harrison Ford's character (Woodrow Dollarhyde).
Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof adapted the script while Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Steven Spielberg and Scott Rosenberg will produce. Shooting kicks off this Summer.
Synopsis : 1873. Arizona Territory. A stranger (Craig) with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don't welcome strangers, and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Ford).
