Woody Harrelson "NATURAL BORN KILLERS" has signed on to star in the horror comedy "ZOMBIELAND", which Ruben Fleischer is directing for Columbia Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Written by the team of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick ("THE JOE SCHMO SHOW"), "ZOMBIELAND" revolves around a mismatched pair of survivors who find friendship and redemption in a world overrun by zombies. Harrelson plays one of the men, a zombie fighter named Albuquerque.

Gavin Polone and his Parish Films are producing.

Synopsis : A cowardly shut-in named Columbus (Eisenberg) is forced to join up with a seasoned zombie slayer named Tallahassee (Harrelson) in order to survive. As Tallahassee sets out on a mission to find the last Twinkie on Earth, the two men meet up with Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), two young girls who have resorted to some rather unorthodox methods to survive amidst the chaos. Reluctant partners in the battle against the undead, all four soon begin to wonder if they might not be better off on their own.
