Stirring Up Those Crystal Lake Memories

To the normal guy or gal on the street, the date Friday the 13th is nothing more than an opportunity to laugh off at twenty-four hours that is supposedly the unluckiest day of the year. But to the horror fan, Friday the 13th conjures up images of wooded mayhem and a familiar haunting theme by a Mr. Henry Manfredini.

Yeah, those Friday the 13th films screwed us all up. And now we can appreciate the series all the more with a new book arriving in '05 entitled Crystal Lake Memories: 25 Years of 'Friday the 13th.' Penned by DVD File's Peter Bracke, this 300-page hardcover tome will be an exhaustive look at the making of each film with exclusive interviews with over 200 (!) cast, crew, and industry folk. Peter has also scraped up tons of never-before-seen photos.
